Mark Tindle

Mark Tindle is Vice President of Business Development for Colligent, Inc.; innovators and pioneers in Psychosocial Research™. Colligent successfully leverages consumer information from massive social network sites and provides actionable intelligence which enables clients to market their music, media or brands in a targeted approach and monetize through multiple avenues.

Mark comes to Colligent with an extensive background within many facets of the Music Industry. He served as Senior VP, GM-West Coast for Nielsen Entertainment’s Music division representing Nielsen SoundScan and Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems (BDS). During his 8-year tenure at Nielsen, Tindle worked with executives in all phases of the music business in providing vital sales and airplay research data from the Industries’ leading information business.

For more than a decade until 1999, Tindle made his way through the ranks of the promotion department at A&M Records, the highly respected independent record label, to Vice President/ Rock Formats. Tindle played in integral role in the development of such acts as Sheryl Crow, Blues Traveler, Jonny Lang and Soundgarden; while playing a crucial part in the continued growth and development of such artists as Sting, Bryan Adams, Amy Grant, David Crosby, Barry White, Janet Jackson and Styx.

Prior to joining A&M, Tindle served in both broadcast radio and music retail, as Dallas rock station KZEW’s Creative Services Director and Advertising Director for Sound Warehouse, respectively.
